Stumptown is finally open at the Ace!  I couldn’t be more pleased, especially since it’s an approximately one minute walk from my office.

The experience was as good as I’d hoped- an authentically petite-sized cappuccino with a little heart on top, made for me by yet another James McAvoy lookalike (again, in costume.  Where are they all coming from?).  When I realized I didn’t have cash, I simply got a smile, a new friend and a compromise to come back tomorrow.

*Specifically those involving ghosts and certain lost-generation writers.  Unrelated, but sadly true.

New York, finally taking a couple lessons from Portland.

Except for being gay as hell and manic, what does this shit have to do with one of our only great writers?
