unsustainable: upsider:cbeth:afghanistanbananastand:inothernews:(via moamy) I’ve loved this painting all of my life, had it hanging in my house as a kid, followed it to museums, written stories about it, etc. But I loved it slightly less after MisterAntithesis observed that it is a Ubiquitous ’90s Dorm Poster. In 1995, I made a short film (16mm, you slackers) lampooning your favorite painting. I had access to grass, girls, and houses, but not much else, so it seemed a natural subject. The concept was that she got out of the grass and made it, through a series of adventures, to the house. But nobody was home. So she left. Thank you.
